So far, testing indicates this will improve number of clicks. For example, you might post a notice about a webinar or newsletter and include a call to action. Facebook advertisers can also use call to action buttons.

Facebook has added a new tool to help merchants do that. It is call to action button that can be added to posts. This button has five of the most common labels that instructs the visitor to click to get more. The labels are "Shop Now", "Learn More", "Sign Up", "Book Now", and "Download".

Research has shown that a call to action button that is well-positioned can improve click-through rates. People are more likely to take action when they get a prompt. When you write your content, your copy should include a call-to-action and the appropriate right by it.

You can write your text, add a picture and create a link and headline then add your call to action. Choose whether the post is an ad or a simple post. You'll see the choice at the bottom. After you've finished composing your ad or post, you can preview it. Remember to publish it or set a time and date for it to be published. Click the green upload changes button at the top of the page.

The call to action button is not a huge change; however, it is very helpful in getting people to act on the things you post. All in all, it is a very nice improvement.
