We are beginning a new season of T-shirt design now that spring has sprung and summertime is upon us it is time for people to begin looking for the best T-shirt designs to display their beliefs, cult trends and ideals. Some of the more popular trends are depicted below:

Certainly sports t-shirts are big, and nothing will be bigger than the World Cup. Just about every nation in the world will be participating, and in order to support their country's team there will be a host of t-shirts that people will be purchasing in that order.

An emphasis on graphics in a more traditional style with a good bit of detail with the text of the subject matter woven into the graphic. This is an eye-catcher and deserves a second look. The design can be multi-color or a single color on a contrasting colorful background. Steam Punk comes to mind as a good subject for this type of graphic. Chalkboard text grabbed a lot of attention in 2013, and it will continue to dominate in 2014 with its simplicity and craft-like looks. It states a simple message in a catchy sort of a way, that makes its statement and then moves on.

The world of games is always a big topic and that is going to have a big emphasis. The classic tees that pertain to specific games will rule the day as followers adhere to telling everyone about the games that they are playing. Niches and cool art and statements are still going to be around for awhile. Manipulation of photos are still all the rage, where a photo gets manipulated to actually be something else. They are usually original photos with clever text to make a point.

A minimalist design is just that. It is a simple design that has little detail, yet it is clever and makes an immediate point. 2014 is the year for it to really break out and establish itself. Gamer tees have been around for a long time, but this is the year for them to really break out and promote some of more obscure games.

Memes, or a theme that is spread from person to person via the internet, or through a specific group of people, are always going to be in, as evidenced by Grumpy the Cat. They are very amusing, short and to the point, with cartoony characters declaring their proclamations with a bit of truth. Dr. Who Tees are in with the nostalgic memories of the popular British character who turned 50 this year, and the ensuing celebration gained lots of publicity. Odes and parodies alike rekindled interest in the popular British TV series.
